My Etsy Shop

Signage is an important part of any wedding, it has practical uses to identify areas of interest for guests but it can also be used as a design element.  Over the years, I have made many signs for the weddings I decorate for, and now I have decided to open an Etsy shop that showcases some designs.  These files are available, in most cases, for immediate download, and easy printing at home, or through a print shop or website.

Feel free to check out some designs, from wedding related signs to prints you can use around your home.

Signs for every occasion

Gillian and Lee, The Johnson Geo Centre

Gillian and Lee decided to ring in the new year as a newly married couple.  Surrounded by family and friends, they were married in a late evening ceremony which lead into reception.  They were married in front of a black sheer curtain with string lighting and accent floor standing chandeliers with a flower ball on top.  The tables were dressed in black cloths with no table runners.  There were two types of centerpieces, gold chandeliers with white flower balls and a trio of cylinder vases with white hydrangea, and accent candles.  The head table, cake table, gift table, favour table and props table were dressed in gold sequin cloths.  A selfie station backdrop of black sheer and gold sequin panels was added for guests to take pictures in front of.  A night of glitz and glamour to end the year!

Suncor Christmas Party, The St. John's Convention Centre

The Suncor Christmas Party was held at the newly renovated St. John's Convention Centre, it is a very modern and beautiful space.  The tables were dressed in white cloths with gold satin table runners.  There were two types of centerpieces, the first a fish bowl full of red hydrangea with pine cones and ornaments, the second a duo of gold wine bottles with ornaments, greenery and pine cones.

School of Pharmacy APAC Closing Gala, The Bella Vista

After a week long conference, the pharmacy students held a gala to end their week, and the masquerade theme was chosen as a theme for the event.  The tables were dressed in white cloths with a muted black striped overlay, layered with gold sequin table runners.  The centerpieces were put together using red hydrangea bunches and masquerade masks of gold, black, and white.  Accent candles were placed on either side of each centerpiece.  Cocktail tables were dressed in gold sequin cloths with candle accents.  Chairs were dressed in black spandex chair covers with gold sashes tied on the side.  A selfie station backdrop was provided using black and gold sequin drapes, and the props were laid out on top of a table dressed in gold sequin.

Colton and Kevin, The Manuels River Interpretation Centre

Colton and Kevin picked a beautiful venue for their ceremony and reception, and both were held in the same room.  The couple decided their love of books would be the theme for their wedding.  We set up a light and airy backdrop for the grooms to be married in front of, using a combination of white sheer and gray string curtains gathered.  The chairs were dressed in white scuba chair covers with eggplant chair sashes tied on the side and hard covered novels were used as aisle decor.  Following the ceremony, the room was transformed into the reception space.  The ceremony backdrop was used to frame the head table.  The head table was dressed in white cloths and skirting and a banner from book pages was used to decorate the front.  The guest tables were dressed in white tablecloths and a charcoal gray table runner.  The centerpieces were a combination of hard covered books and mason jars with floating candles.  The table numbers were created from the couple's favorite books and the tables were named after each title.

Sheraton Hotel booth for the Ultimate Bridal Show

I was honoured to be invited to decorate the banquet table in the Sheraton Hotel's booth for the fall version of the Ultimate Bridal Show.

Natalie and Chris, Admiral's Green Clubhouse

Natalie and Chris picked a beautiful space and view with their choice of having their ceremony and reception at Admiral's Green.  The ceremony was held out on the deck with a few dressed chairs for their elderly guests, while most stood around and enjoyed the ceremony with the view of the city as their backdrop.  In the reception space, the chairs were dressed in white spandex chair covers with royal blue sashes.  The tables were dressed in white cloths with burlap table runners.  We created centerpieces of fresh florals, carnations and babies breath, in mason jars, sitting on a wood slab and accented with smaller mason jars for candles.  We accented the fireplace with arrangements and added entrance decor in the foyer area.  Place cards were created with orange fall leaves, and flags with passed loved ones were placed in centerpieces to honour those that couldn't be there to celebrate with the couple.  The head table, cake and gift table were dressed with lace skirting and accented with royal blue and wooden table numbers and signs were used throughout.
