Amy and Andrew, CLB Armoury

We started off the 2022 wedding season with Amy and Andrew at the CLB Armoury! We added white chair covers with navy sashes tied on an angle, gold satin table runners and centerpieces of cylinder vases with floating candles and pearls in the bottom surrounded by artificial greenery. Amy and Andrew had everyone seated at their dinner tables when they arrived to be married among their guests. We did entrance decor to jazz up the bride’s grand entrance and added an aisle runner. The head table was unique in that it was composed of 3 separate tables with the bride and groom extended beyond the wedding party. We added white uplighting and dressed the head table in gold sequin.

Brokering Wishes, A Make a Wish Fundraiser

For the second year in a row, I was happy to be able to participate in the Brokering Wishes Fundraiser Gala held at the CLB.  The room was draped in black, the tables were dressed with white tablecloths, black napkins and a royal blue table runner to highlight one of the Make a Wish colours.  White spandex chair covers were used on the chairs with gold satin sashes tied on an angle.  Simple centerpieces of gold wine bottles and vases with floating candles completed the tablescape.  We added gold sequin tablecloths to the entry, and ticket tables and added white drapery accented with gold sequin to the entrance.

The decor was monochromatic with champagne on the chair sashes and table runners.  Gold matt and sparkle bottles with a cylinder vase of creamy white hydrangea composed the centerpieces, a small fish bowl with pearls and votive candle holders accented.  A champagne sequin tablecloth accented the cake table.  The head table backdrop was accented with white uplighting and a champagne overlay was gathered on the head table.

Overall, the bride wanted simple decor for her wedding.  For centerpieces, we did a trio of cube vases, filled with jade coloured  water gems and candles on top of square mirrors sprinkled with royal blue marbles.  Jade chair sashes and tablecloths were used on the speciality tables.  The head table backdrop was highlighted with jade coloured uplighting.

NLNU Newfoundland Night

This event marked the end of the Newfoundland Chapter of the Nurses Union hosting the other Atlantic Provinces and Newfoundland related decor was requested.  The event was informal, so while we used white spandex chair covers, no sashes were used.  Centerpiece number 1 - jelly bean row house luminaries sitting atop a juniper wood slab with a dory sitting on it.  Centerpiece number 2 - an arrangement of hydrangea with a clothes line representing the nurses uniform hanging on the line.  The table numbers were named after Newfoundland town names and there was a photo booth display with Newfoundland themed props.
