Zack and Tori, The CLB Armoury

Tori and Zack held both their ceremony and reception at the CLB. The chairs were dressed in white with sage green sashes, tables in white with centerpieces of a wooden slab with greenery and cylinder vases with floating candles. We added curtain lights to the head table backdrop.

Fortis Meet and Greet, Quidi Vidi Brewery

Following their annual meeting, Fortis employees from across Canada enjoyed themselves with an evening at the Quidi Vidi Brewery for an upscale kitchen party. We added gold terrariums with touches of Newfoundlandia, Jellybean row house figures, puffins, and whales painted on rocks.

Kayla and Edward, The Bella Vista

Kayla and Edward held both their ceremony and reception at the Bella Vista. The chairs were dressed in white with champagne sashes, tables in white with the champagne table runner and for a pop of colour we added terra cotta napkins and the result was spectacular!

Allison and Andrew, The Gypsy Tea Room upstairs

With the restaurant closed to the public, the Gypsy Tea Room hosted Allison and Andrew’s reception. The decor was simple, white chiffon table runners across their bare tables, bud vases with florals and cylinder vases with floating candles added across.

Ashley and Daniel, The CLB Armoury

I love couples that include bits of themselves in their decor, it is what makes things special! The chairs were dressed in white with silver organza sashes, the tables were dressed in navy with silver sequin runners and the sweetheart table was dressed in all silver sequin. Because of the size of their wedding party, they opted for a sweetheart table on the stage, and had their party sit in front of them on floor level. Ashley had gathered some decor from trips to Japan and gave it to me to incorporate into the decor. We did a trio of cylinder vases with water gems, fairy lights and added her special pieces throughout the vases.

Tisha and John, Sheraton Hotel Court Garden

Tisha and John’s guests were mainly from away, and the couple wanted to give them a splash of Newfoundlandia with their wedding decor. We used red, yellow and royal blue napkins to represent some of the colours in our iconic Jellybean Row. We did beach rocks in cylinder vases on top of a wooden slab as centerpieces. The couple named their tables after towns across the province that were special to them. Their guests each were given a pen with the province’s flag and a very cute puffin cookie. Chairs were kept simple and only dressed in white, and we added covers to the ones in the dance portion as well.

Heather and Maxwell, Comfort Hotel

Heather and Maxwell held their ceremony and reception at the Comfort Hotel. Rich burgundy table runners and sashes were added to the white tablecloths and chairs. The centerpieces were complimentary, both sat on a wooden slab, white lanterns with sunflowers and a trio of cylinder vases with floating candles and sunflowers. The head table was dressed in gold and the backdrop contained curtain lights adding a wonderful glow.

Denise and Steve, Bannerman Brewery

With a late afternoon ceremony, we did a setup that allowed for minimal down time before transitioning into their reception. We added a gold hoop with floral swags, dressed the chairs in white with champagne sashes and added white table linens to the guest and cocktail tables. Denise provided the centerpieces, beautiful orchids that were a pop of colour!

Vanessa and Cody, St. Kevin's Parish Hall

Vanessa and Cody opted for a combination of round and rectangular tables for their reception, and we mixed centerpieces as well, using tall crystal stands on the rounds and a complimentary smaller one on the rectangles. The tables and chairs were dressed in white, with a black table runner and black napkins while champagne was added to the chairs.

Nicole and Joel, Murray Premises Courtyard

Nicole and Joel faced so many changes as they went through the planning process, originally they had EVOO restaurant booked with the Courtyard as an extension of the restaurant, but unfortunately the restaurant stopped operating. They pushed forward and I hope that every challenge they overcame helped make their day even more special. We added cafe style bulbs to the tent, Nicole rented chairs and they were a lovely compliment to her vision. With the wind creating a wind tunnel through the courtyard we opted to add the floral swag to the base of the gold hoop so nothing else unfortunate would happen. A backdrop was added on the side to hid some unsightly things and repurposed into a photo backdrop. The tables were dressed in white, we added fresh greenery runners, bud vases with roses and candles woven in between.

Sonya and Derm, Flatrock Community Centre

The Flatrock Community Centre welcomed Sonya and Derm’s family for their reception, having gotten married at the Grotto next door. Sonya wanted sunflowers and provided her own centerpieces and we accented with lanterns to fill in for the extra tables that were added. The head table backdrop framed the large head table in white with curtain lights, and bling was added in the gold sequin table runners and head table linens.

Jennifer and Chris, Comfort Hotel

Jennifer and Chris were married and had their reception at the Comfort Hotel. We added a backdrop with fairy lights for the ceremony and placed a wooden arch in front for the couple to be married in front of. The chairs were dressed in white, with champagne sequin bands, table dressed in white with centerpieces of terrariums with fairy lights and greenery. When the backdrop was moved behind the head table, it was fancied up with a wooden sign, champagne sequin accents and gathered sheer on the ends.

Brooke and Kyle, Bauline Community Centre

The Bauline Community Centre is a great space, lots of windows bringing in natural light and giving a beautiful view of the wooded area that surrounds it. Brooke was a DIY bride and gave me some decor to incorporate including her own centerpieces. We added a backdrop to frame the windows behind the head table, and added chair covers.

Annie and Tyler, Murray's Pond Golf and Fishing Club

A beautiful backdrop for any event, Murray’s Pond, no matter what the weather, the lake looks amazing. We added a light and airy backdrop to frame the head table but not to block the view. White tablecloths and chair covers with champagne sashes and centerpieces of greenery and our popular cylinder vases with floating candles were used in the decor. Anne and Tyler had written little notes to each of their guests and those colourful envelopes became part of the decor added little pops of green on the tables.

Laura and Aaron, Lester's Farm Chalet

Lester’s Farm is a great space for a wedding, with the beautiful floor, deep rich wood chairs and lots of natural light, you don’t need a lot of decor. Laura and Aaron held an afternoon wedding reception for their friends and family, doing ceremony and going right into the reception. We added a backrop for them to be married in front of, aisle decor that matched the feel of the chalet and dressed the tables in white with a hint of champagne. Once the ceremony was done and chairs moved away, cocktail table dressed in champagne sequin were moved into place for guests to mingle.

Rosemary and Brian, Woodstock Public House

Rosemary and Brian had an unexpected venue change part way through planning but ended up at the lovely space of the Woodstock restaurant. They held their ceremony in the back, facing the gazebo on a lovely day, we added some chair decor and a signing table linen. While inside added a white chiffon runner, greenery and cylinder vases down the length of each table. Their sweetheart table was framed in a silver hexagon with backdrop behind and picked up their colours of blush and teal.

Chelsea and Curtis, Bella Vista

Among my favourite colour schemes is this one, black and white always looks so classy! Pair that with a little bling from champagne sequin linens and you have a gorgeous setup! Chelsea and Curtis held their ceremony at the Bella Vista, we added curtain lights to the backdrop and entrance decor, so the bridal party were hidden slightly and entered in dramatic fashion. Our popular and lovely trio of gold terrariums gave a lovely glow on the tables.

Backdrop install at Admiral's Green Clubhouse

Emily’s family were taking care of her decor and she originally planned to rent the backdrop from me, but in the end decided to have me install it myself. She sent along inspiration pictures and I recreated her vision!

Lindsay and Ryan, Sheraton Hotel

Simple yet elegant was what Lindsay and Ryan requested of the decor. Both the tables and chairs were dressed in white, the only colour were the black napkins, colourful NL Chocolate Company bars and greenery in the centerpieces. The large head table was framed in a white backdrop with curtain lights and a greenery runner down the length of the table. And we added our greenery wall and neon sign for a photo backdrop for guests.
