Blair and Hannah, Admiral's Green Clubhouse

Hannah and Blair held their ceremony and reception at the Clubhouse. The couple provided a lot of the decor themselves but we helped put it all together. We provided and dressed the chairs in white spandex covers, no sash. The couple collected growlers from their dates together at different breweries and we used them as aisle decor and then later for centerpieces, adding fresh babies breath to them. Hannah provided crocheted runners for the cake and gift tables and we added a fresh greenery runner from Costco online to the head table.

Laura and Steven, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 56

Laura and Steven’s reception was the largest we had done since Covid entered our lives, I honestly thought the days of large weddings were gone but I was happy to see they are not! We dressed the tables in white cloths with no table runners to keep things simple to reflect just white and greenery with candlelight. The chairs were dressed in white covers but with no sash, the head table backdrop was also simple with a wooden sign provided by the couple hung behind them. When the lights went down, the glow from the candles, icicle lights in the venue and the white uplighting was a stunning moment!

Keela and Brandon, The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 56

Brandon and Keela chose navy and white with silver for their wedding decor. The chairs were dressed in white covers with navy sashes. We dressed the tables in navy tablecloths wit silver sequin table runners. The centerpieces were tall vases with hydrangea paired with hydrangea in fish bowl vases. The head table was framed with a backdrop of gathered sheer.

Chris and Carol, Swilers Rugby Club

Carol and Chris had their ceremony in the outdoor space at the Pippy Park Commission Headquarters on Mount Scio rd. They had a tent and white chairs set out and added a wooden table for their signing table. We added minimal decor, navy sashes with hydrangea on the chairs that lined the aisleway and a grapevine wreath to accent the door behind the signing table. They held their reception at the Swilers Rugby Club with a subtle bird theme running through the decor. We draped one wall to cover up the trophies and pictures of the club, added white tablecloths with navy runners and centerpieces of lanterns with greenery. The chairs were dressed in white with navy sashes and we added a sweetheart table for the couple and incorporated the cocktail tables of the club, dressing them in silver sequin.

Ryan and Zack, The Gypsy Tea Room

Ryan and Zack had their ceremony and reception at the Gypsy Tea Room and given the nature of the room, you only need decor to accent as the space is beautiful on its own. For the ceremony, we added a backdrop in front of the wooden doors and the metal hexagon arch in front draped in black. We repurposed the centerpieces as aisle decor, which were composed of a wooden slab, with a glass terrariums placed on top, with votive candle holders and moss and greenery surrounding. We added royal blue sand to the terrarium to pick up one of the groom’s tie with a deep green succulent to match the emerald of the other groom’s tie. Fairy lights were added to the terrarium to give a lovely glow to walk down the aisle to. We dressed the guest tables and buffet tables in black. The only other request the grooms had was that they wanted orchids incorporated into the decor, so we added potted orchids to accent the bar, fireplace and ledges in the tap room.

A British Influenced wedding at Bally Haly

Hilary approached us about providing simple decor to her wedding. We added a backdrop behind the head table, chair covers in white with pale pink sashes and table runners. The highlight for me was of the favours Hilary had chosen and they really made an impact on the tables!

Leanna and Kyle, Sheraton Hotel Court Garden

Kyle and Leanna had their ceremony and reception in the same space in the stunning space at the Sheraton Hotel. The couple wanted chivarti chairs rather than the hotel chairs so we arranged for delivery. We added a wooden arch with sheer for the ceremony, and cylinder vases with floating candles and greenery for aisle decor. For the reception, we did white tablecloths, a collection of 5 cylinder vases with greenery surrounding them for centerpieces and accent candles to create a romantic candlelit dinner. Gold charger plates with white napkins finished the look.

Tyler and Renee, The Fluvarium

Renee and Tyler had their ceremony and reception at the Fluvarium. We added Edison style cafe bulbs to the ceiling above the fireplace area. We dressed the tables in white and added emerald green table runners, dressed the chairs in white with emerald sashes. The rich deep colour of emerald was contrasted with the sunny bright yellow of sunflowers in the centerpiece which sat in mason jars on a wooden slab.

Alyssa and Michael, Johnson Geo Centre

Alyssa and Michael held their ceremony in the beautiful space of the Geo Centre’s outdoor classroom. They provides a wooden hexagon archway for the ceremony, which we added sheer and a floral swag to. We dressed the chairs in a white chair cover with dusty blue sash and added a simple white linen for the signing table. For the reception, we dressed the tables in white, added a dusty blue satin table runner, centerpieces were provided by the couple, we added a vase with fairy lights and greenery.

Selina and Aaron, The Johnson Geo Centre

Aaron and Selina held their ceremony in the Geo Centre’s outdoor classroom, always a lovely space on one of the hottest days of the year! We added black covers with silver satin sashes to the chairs and lined the aisle in a handmade paper star garlands incorporating the wedding colours of purple, emerald, black and silver. For the reception, we dressed the tables in black, added table numbers and a seating chart, and card box with subtle touches to match their theme of Gamer Glam! The couple opted for an individual barbeque buffet at each guest table so no centerpieces were required. The sweetheart table was dressed in a silver sequin tablecloth to match the table runners on the guest tables, and we added a black sheer backdrop with fairy lights.

Sarah and Michael, Manuel's River

Sarah’s mom took the lead on the decor for this wedding, and we acted as helpers the day of to go in and set everything up to her specifications and recreate her vision of the decor.

Scott and Twyla, The Delta Hotel, Harbourview Room

Twyla and Scott had both their ceremony and reception at the Delta Hotel. The ceremony took place in the newly renovated Bridge and the reception in the adjacent Harbourview rooms. The Bridge is a beautiful space with lots of natural light. We added a simple white backdrop for the couple to be married in front of, dressed the chairs in white with black sashes and added an aisle runner, white rose petals and cylinder vases with floating candles to the aisle. The reception tables were dressed in white, with centerpieces of cylinder vases with floating candles adding a rich glow, the vases were surrounded by white rose petals, and fairy lights and accented with red rose petals to bring in a little red that the couple requested. The rest of the tables were kept simple, dressed in white.

Angelina and Bradley, Admiral's Green Clubhouse

Angelina and Bradley held their ceremony and reception at the clubhouse. Navy, white, and blush with touches of silver were the couples colour palette. For the ceremony, we added a silver metal hexagon arch with white sheer and a floral swag to accent. The centerpieces of artificial hydrangea in a fish bowl type vase were repurposed as aisle decor. The chairs were dressed in white with navy sashes. For the reception, the guest tables were dressed in white with a navy table runner, and blush coloured napkins. The head table was dressed in navy and accented with silver charger plates. Angelina asked me to put her memorial frames on the fireplace next to the head table and I thought it was such a lovely idea to bring those that couldn’t be there into the room as well. We added silver sequin tablecloths to the special tables and blush uplighting to add a warm glow as the evening went on.

Andrea and Joe, Shea Heights Community Centre

Andrea and Joe chose beautiful rich colours for their wedding, burgundy and navy! The tables were dressed in navy with chiffon gray table runners that were thrown lazily across the tables. The chairs were dressed in white with navy chair sashes. For centerpieces we did fresh florals in bud vases, using beautiful deep burgundy roses, burgundy carnations, blue thistle and white wax flower with greenery. The head table backdrop was in white, with an arch in front that mirrored the burgundy and navy, the head table was dressed in navy with a greenery runner.

Julianna and Justin, CLB Armoury

Justin and Julianna decided on beautiful rich colours for their wedding, eggplant and navy! The tables and chairs were dressed in white and we did a navy satin table runner and eggplant satin chair sashes to bring both colours in to the decor immediately. There was a hint of rustic throughout, we used burlap to accent the ties on the chair sash and for centerpieces we used mason jars that were painted navy with eggplant flowers and chalkboard table numbers. Navy napkins completed the look with place cards in wood that Julianna made herself.

Shauna and Garrett, The Woodstock Public House

Shauna and Garrett had to move their reception last minute because of the Mount Pearl City strike, but I think it was a blessing in disguise as the Woodstock was exactly what they needed. Their ceremony was held at the gazebo they have on site and then their reception in the restaurant following. The restaurant need minimal decor, we dressed the tables in white cloths, added a burlap table runner and bud vase centerpieces. Shauna added a beautiful sunflower garland to the sweetheart table and we added a sheer backdrop behind it.

Nicole and Robert, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 56

Nicole and Robert were married and had their reception in the upstairs space at the Legion on the Boulevard. We set the chairs up in front of a backdrop of sheer that went the entire width of the room and in the center we added the silver hexagon arch with a sheer and floral accent. For the reception, we moved the backdrop behind the head table, and added entrance decor. The tables were dressed in white tablecloths with dusty blue table runners, the chairs were dressed in white as well with dusty blue sashes. Simple centerpieces of cylinder vases with dusty blue twig like flowers completed the guest tables. The head table and special tables were dressed in silver sequin tablecloths.

Ashley and Jon, Geo Centre Outdoor Classroom and Emera Innovation Centre

Ashley and Jon had their ceremony is the naturally beautiful space of the Geo Centre’s outdoor classroom. We did minimal decor for the ceremony, white chair covers with champagne organza sashes, a dressed podium and signing table. Their reception, originally meant for the Geo Centre was moved to the Emera Innovation Centre. It was the first time I had been in the space since it opened under MUN and the space was better than I had remembered it. We provided decorating service to the final wedding that was held at the Battery before it closed and this was the first wedding reception they held since re-opening. Ashley and Jon had a very large wedding party and so we decided to do a King’s table for the party, we dressed the table in champagne sequin, and carried forward the same look as the ceremony, white chair covers with champagne organza sashes. The tables were dressed in white with a champagne table runner, with centerpieces of glass terrariums with fairy lights, fresh greenery and white roses.

James and Sharilee, Admiral's Green Clubhouse

Wind kept Sharilee and James from using the deck for their ceremony so it was held in the same space as the reception with the chairs oriented toward the view. We used a wooden arch with sheer and an arrangement that Sharilee put together herself as the backdrop for the couple’s vows. Sharilee rented chairs from another vendor and they matched the rustic theme she was going for beautifully. For the reception, the tables were dressed in white tablecloths with burlap table runners that were accented with blush satin, knotted blush napkins and Sharilee provided her own centerpieces and favours which we styled on a separate table.

Ashley and Deon, Admiral's Green Clubhouse

It was a beautiful sunny day, although a windy one for Ashley and Deon’s ceremony, which they held on the deck at Admiral’s Green. We added a hexagon metal arch with sheer and a floral swag and a few chairs for the older members of the family but most guests stood and watched them say I do. For the reception, the tables were dressed in white tablecloths, we added silver sequin table runners and centerpieces of taller vases with hydrangea. The head table was draped in silver sequin cloths and framed by a backdrop styled in an open and airy way to allow the light and beautiful view in. Bright pink uplighting was used to accent the drapery and walls in the space.
